Over the last few months, my blog hits have steadily increased so I must have been doing something right. Blogging is a rewarding task beyond reader numbers though as anybody who blogs themselves will hopefully know. Despite the fact that I have a lengthy list of blog post ideas, some already in draft form, I thought it would be an interesting exercise to ask my readers what sort of topics they would like to see here.
With that in mind, I would really appreciate a few moments of your time. Please select up to three topics below that you would like to see more posts on here at vegaskid.net.
Poll results
After a few weeks, the poll has finally closed. It seems that most people wanted a combination of lifestyle\career\studying type posts and R&S\Security. Nobody was interested in vendor posts and only three votes were cast for SDN\DC topics.
Thank you again for your time.
ASA and lifestyle and career!
Good work mate. Good to see you giving direction and structure to the blog. Keep it up.
Thanks Anthony.
Use a proper apostrophe in your site’s title! We live in a Unicode world; there is no need to restrict your punctuation to typewriter-style 7-bit ASCII.
Hi Toby, nothing wrong with being a typography snob 😉
WordPress was auto-installed by my hosting provider so I didn’t get the option to configure the character set at that time. I’ll consider updating at some point.
On the basis that typographic characters work fine in these comments, and that your pages are served with the HTTP header “Content-Type: text/html; charset=UTF-8”, I would have thought that it is just a matter of editing your site’s title — is character set configuration needed if things are already Unicode?
But then I know little about WordPress, being a long-term LiveJournal user.
